Reflection

This project although it ran for the entire year for me it really felt like it only got moving towards the second half of the second term. It was amazing collaboration between me and Saki, I feel like we learn a lot from each other and we bounce ideas off each other very well, we are interested in similar performance designs and styles of work but she still pushed me with the designs when I didn't know the direction I was taking it in. I think this is one of the most accessible collaborations that I achieve this you as we really had our own creative freedom is to produce the work we wanted and we communicated how we were going to design and make it together throughout the whole process.

I think what prohibited us from making a lot of progress during the first time and second was that we didn't really know what was happening with CSM alive and we weren't in uni to collaborate with each other and we both really struggled to collaborate online. Was a lot harder to find motivation when we were in the studio working together but once circumstances changed I feel like the project took a complete 180 and we really managed to get it moving.

It was also amazing having her perform in the piece as like I mentioned before it was really important that we could have lots of fittings with each other so I can see that the costumes were working well and she could practice in them before as she isn't a performer usually, so letting her get comfortable with the movement for the piece.

I also learn a lot about filming and editing during this process. As the project originally started inside the bubble of CSM live I feel like it confused as a law as there was a lot of confusion with what was happening with the project and for us once we came out of that and started taking it own direction that's when things really started to happen and work was starting to be produced. We had a clear vision of where we wanted to take the piece after coming out of CSM alive and it was the best decision for us.

Something I struggled with during this process was time management. I don't think I really grasped the timescale of the project and has spent a lot of time working on the first costume and doing a lot of experimentation and then it felt like a massive rush towards the end to get it all completed and it was an executed to the standard that I wanted it to be.
